RESULTS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent shall be reporting to the Director Examinations Administration. The purpose of the job is to manage the processing of marks, facilitate computing of results and awarding of certificates in respect of all deserving candidates at grade 7, ordinary and advanced level.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

THE INCUMBENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Preparation and dispatch examination timetables
  • Planning, scheduling, forecasting and coordinating activities to ensure goal equivalence
  • Supervising the receipt, scanning and loading of all answer sheets
  • Investigating and resolving outstanding marks matters
  • Liaising with test development and research development divisions on marks and results processing
  • Liaising with regulations office on malpractice cases
  • Managing timeous processing, production and distribution of data and documents for grading and grade review exercise
  • Facilitating the ordering of results and certificates stationery
  • Liaising with information services and printers over results and certificate printing, layout and quality
  • In-house training of assistant managers
  • Maintain certificate reprints tape data
  • Receive queries from stakeholders and mark requests
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Prepare annual budgets for the sections
  • Draft examination circulars that accompany results
  • Manage the disposal of past examination papers

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Be a university graduate and a holder of a teaching diploma or certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • Be a holder of a relevant Master’s Degree
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Oracle operating systems
  • Communication skills
  • Planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
